Terms of Use

Samplehub is intended for professionals and organizations involved in architecture, interior design, construction, property, material sourcing, brands, suppliers, and related industries. Some features may require an approved account, and Samplehub may accept, reject, suspend, or limit registrations at its discretion.

By creating an account or using the platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, that the information you provide is accurate and current, that you are using the services for your own internal business or professional purposes, and that your use of the platform complies with applicable Hong Kong laws and regulations.

Samplehub uses reasonable efforts to keep the platform and services available, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, repairs, security work, network issues, service provider failures, or events outside our reasonable control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform or services at any time.

Samplehub provides a platform that helps users discover materials, review product information, organize projects, request digital or physical samples, communicate with participating brands or suppliers, and streamline material sourcing workflows.

Samplehub does not own all samples, product information, images, specifications, or other material content made available through the platform. Much of that information is supplied by brands, suppliers, manufacturers, or other third parties. Samplehub is not a party to any separate contract, quotation, purchase, specification, or supply arrangement between you and any third party unless expressly stated.

You are responsible for reviewing product information, requesting additional details where needed, and deciding whether any material, sample, supplier, or manufacturer is suitable for your project.

You may use Samplehub only for lawful, professional, internal material discovery, sourcing, research, sample evaluation, and project-management purposes. You must not misuse samples, collect samples for resale or unrelated personal use, scrape or harvest platform content, interfere with the platform, bypass security controls, impersonate others, submit misleading information, upload unlawful or harmful content, send spam, harass other users, or use the platform in a way that harms Samplehub, other users, brands, suppliers, or service providers.

Samplehub may determine, in its discretion, whether conduct violates these terms and may suspend, restrict, or terminate access, refuse sample requests, remove content, or take other action permitted by law.

Samplehub, the Samplehub name, logos, platform design, software, workflows, content, compilations, data, and other materials made available through the platform are owned by Samplehub or its licensors unless otherwise stated. Brands, suppliers, and manufacturers may own their own trademarks, sample content, product data, images, and other materials.

You may view platform content for permitted professional use through the services. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, scrape, download in bulk, reverse engineer, or exploit Samplehub content or platform materials except where expressly permitted by Samplehub or applicable law.

If Samplehub makes software, apps, tools, widgets, or downloadable materials available, they are licensed, not sold, and may be subject to additional terms. Unless separate terms apply, Samplehub grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software solely for your permitted use of the platform and services.

You must not copy, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, modify, translate, remove proprietary notices from, or create derivative works from the software except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

If you upload, submit, save, post, or otherwise provide content, files, images, comments, project information, notes, or other materials to Samplehub, you remain responsible for that material and represent that you have the rights needed to provide it.

You grant Samplehub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, copy, display, process, adapt, transmit, and otherwise use submitted materials as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, and provide the platform and services. Samplehub does not claim ownership of your submitted materials except for rights expressly granted in these terms.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are for individual or approved organizational use and may not be shared unless Samplehub expressly permits it.

You must notify us promptly at support@samplehub.com if you believe your account has been compromised or used without authorization. We may require password changes, additional verification, or other security steps where we believe they are necessary.

You may stop using the services or request account cancellation at any time. Obligations that arose before cancellation or termination will continue to apply.

Samplehub may suspend, restrict, deactivate, or terminate your account or access to the platform at any time where permitted by law, including if we believe you violated these terms, created risk for Samplehub or others, provided inaccurate information, or misused the platform or services. After cancellation or termination, Samplehub may retain or delete account content and records in accordance with our Privacy Policy, legal obligations, and operational needs.

You agree to use the platform and services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of Hong Kong and any other laws that apply to your use of the platform, your organization, your submitted materials, your communications, your sample requests, and your projects.

You must not use Samplehub to upload, transmit, request, export, re-export, procure, or otherwise deal with materials, software, technical data, or information in violation of applicable trade, sanctions, anti-bribery, intellectual property, privacy, consumer protection, customs, import, export, or other legal requirements.

The platform may include links, data, content, or services from third parties, including brands, suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, and other websites or tools. These third-party materials are provided for convenience and information only.

Samplehub does not control third-party websites or materials and is not responsible for their accuracy, availability, terms, privacy practices, products, or services. Your dealings with third parties are at your own risk and may be subject to separate terms.

Samplehub may offer promotions, campaigns, events, credits, discounts, sample programs, or other offers from time to time. Each promotion may be subject to additional rules, eligibility requirements, limits, and time periods.

We may change, suspend, limit, or cancel a promotion where permitted by law. Promotional availability of samples or services is not guaranteed.

Samplehub respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, contact us at support@samplehub.com with enough information for us to review the matter.

Samplehub may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on the platform unless a later effective date is stated. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the platform, by email, or by another reasonable method.

If you do not agree to updated terms, you should stop using the platform and may request account cancellation. Your continued use of the platform or services after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform, services, samples, content, product information, and third-party materials are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Samplehub disclaims all warranties, conditions, representations, and guarantees, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

Product information and sample content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You are responsible for independently verifying material specifications, suitability, safety, compliance, pricing, availability, and other project requirements before relying on any sample, product, supplier, or manufacturer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Samplehub, its affiliates, suppliers, licensors, brands, manufacturers, service providers, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or economic losses, including loss of profits, revenue, savings, goodwill, data, business opportunity, or project delay, arising from or related to the platform, services, samples, content, third-party dealings, unauthorized access, service interruption, or these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Samplehub's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the platform or services is limited to the greater of HKD 1,000 or the amount you paid directly to Samplehub for the relevant services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Samplehub, its affiliates, suppliers, licensors, brands, manufacturers, service providers, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use or misuse of the platform or services, your submitted materials, your violation of these terms, your violation of law, or your infringement or misuse of third-party rights.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact Samplehub at support@samplehub.com so the parties can try to resolve the matter informally.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of Hong Kong will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms, the platform, or the services, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

These terms, together with any policies or additional terms referenced by Samplehub, form the agreement between you and Samplehub for your use of the platform and services. If there is a conflict, these Terms of Use control unless the additional terms expressly state otherwise.

You may not assign your account or rights under these terms without Samplehub's prior written consent. Samplehub may assign these terms in connection with an affiliate, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.

If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect. Samplehub's failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Neither party will be liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, except for payment obligations that have already accrued.
